  • Salvation Testimony

I am blessed and thankful to be the third generation in our family to become a pastor and missionary. My grandfather was a church planter, my father is a missionary, and now, the Lord called me to become a missionary. I praise the Lord and am thankful to Him because I grew up in the ministry. But the danger is as I grew up and was raised in a family that is serving the Lord in the ministry and with my dad being the pastor of the church, I thought that because my family is serving the Lord we were all saved, I thought salvation is by family, that it can be inherited.

But that all changed when one day in April 2006, my dad talk to me and he started with this question, “Son, if you are going to die today, are you sure you are going to Heaven?’’ That question really scared me. There was doubt in my mind and I questioned myself, what if I’m going to hell? Because I was not sure if I was going to heaven. I couldn’t answer him. Then my dad opened the Bible and read to me Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23. It says “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. My dad said that all sinners are bound to hell. I was very scared at that moment. I started to cry, and I told my dad I don’t want to go to hell. Then he read to me John 3:16, he said that God loves me, and gave His only begotten Son Jesus for my sin. My dad said if I will believe in the name of the Lord Jesus I will be saved. It is not by works or by being in a Christian family that will save me. Even though he is a pastor, he cannot take me to Heaven. It is only Jesus that can save me. That day, I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ to be my Lord and personal Savior. After we prayed, there’s one thing I felt, I felt safe. The Holy Spirit put peace in my heart that any time I’m going to die, I’m now sure I am going to Heaven.

  • Calling & Training

One thing I can testify as I grew up in the ministry and as I saw my parents serving God is that there is joy in serving the Lord. It is hard and tough, and there are many challenges and sacrifices in the ministry, but there is a real joy that this world cannot give you. God called me in the ministry when I was 17 years old, I surrendered my whole life to God for Him to use me for His glory.

In 2012, I enrolled at the Fundamental Baptist College for Asians (FBCA) at Tarlac City, Philippines to learn more about the Word of God. I was trained there under men of God and prepared us for the ministry. I learned how to be a more effective servant of God and most especially about the Bible. While I was studying, I was able to serve in our church and help in the ministry. I thank the Lord because last 2016 I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology.

The same year God gave me an opportunity to further my education and training in the ministry at Marietta Bible College (MBC) in Marietta Ohio, under the leadership of Dr. Myron Guiler. I am now taking Pastoral Studies in Theology. By God’s grace after I finished my studies this coming 2018, I will be going back to Philippines and start a new mission work.

  • Ministry Experience

As I grew in faith, I never thought God would use me in the ministry as much as He did. I really thank the Lord because He counted me faithful and put me into the ministry. God gave me the burden to share the Gospel. Through distributing Gospel tracts, knocking on doors to share about salvation, and teaching children, we are able to reach people for the Lord.

Teaching children Bible verses, Christian songs, and stories about Jesus and His love. What a opportunity to share God’s Word to these children and also to their parents.

The Lord also allowed me train and to disicple growing Christians. In our church, God gave me a privilege to become a Youth pastor. I was able to lead young people including those in college, I’m praying that these future professionals will continue to serve God.
